The celebration of simple times and community spirit is a romantic notion brought to life at our Peasants Table. A return to the wholesome goodness of the vegetable patch brought to the table and shared with neighbours, friends and strangers. Held in a courtyard off a laneway in Brown Street. Hidden from the city by tall walls its existence a secret from passers by. The clouds whisked by and the moon beamed between them. Megan Garnham, chef and owner of Soul Foods Cafe combined old and new traditions of gastronomy to fashion a feast worthy of a peasants reward. See photos.
