It's time to learn to love the slow lane. We are experiencing something that will become a significant historic event and I am settling into the solitude. I'm loving the bonding of community and it is heartwarming to see the ideas people have to engage with their neighbourhoods. I hope we all find time to ponder our place and purpose in the world and emerge on the other side more relaxed, more sustainable and more aware of the joy of humanity. See you on the other side.

In our family Father's Day is not just about gift giving its about spending the day together doing something everyone enjoys. I loved the creative ideas suggested by the Newcastle Herald last week to make some memories on Father's Day. Scavenger hunts, mini golf and hiking among them! But if you still need a gift we have gift vouchers available. Easy!
